About The Event

Join the Afrikan Liberation Hub for a virtual conversation hosted by ALH Board Member, Arnold Sibanda, in conversation with Músicas Sospechosas' Sarah Ardite, exploring a powerful question: How does liberation sound?

Drawing on the spirit of Músicas Sospechosas; a space where sound becomes questions, music becomes philosophy, and listening becomes a radical act, this conversation will invite us to reflect on the role of music, culture, memory, resistance, and imagination in Afrikan liberation.

Together, we will explore how songs carry stories, how rhythms hold histories, and how listening can open pathways to freedom, belonging, and collective transformation.

Whether you are a musician, activist, artist, thinker, or simply curious, come ready to listen deeply, share reflections, and imagine new possibilities for liberation through sound.

Arnold Sibanda is a cultural practitioner, curator, and founder of Black City Culture and Músicas Sospechosas is a space that explores the intersections of music, culture, politics, and identity,…
